Making Sense of Your Health: The Braille of the Body
Lisa Stone reads the body like braille—through touch, intuition, and experience, she interprets the subtle signals your body sends every day. Life taught her this deeply: as a widow at 22 raising a 1-year-old, navigating depression, and reaching 275 pounds, Lisa learned firsthand what it means to feel out of balance. Choosing to take control of her health became her turning point—and the foundation for Body Logix. Her early work in the medical field gave her insight into where traditional approaches often fall short, shaping a more thoughtful, holistic way of helping others.

Lisa’s guiding principle is simple: check in, don’t check out. Many people use massage to escape discomfort, but true healing begins with listening. Each session invites clients to step off autopilot, feel what’s happening beneath the surface, and recognize patterns of tension, imbalance, or fatigue. Understanding the language of your body—the “braille” of muscle, nerve, and movement—is the first step in choosing the right path for your wellness journey.

As a certified medical massage therapist, Lisa blends hands-on techniques like cupping, Ashiatsu, Thai massage, and instrument-assisted soft tissue work with a deep reading of your body’s systems. She considers not only the structural elements but also what you put into your body—foods, drinks, and medications—each acting like a potion that can influence your chemistry and overall balance. By activating or disengaging specific systems, she uncovers whether discomfort is rooted in physical tension, physiological stress, or both, and guides clients toward real, lasting relief.

Body Logix isn’t about quick fixes. Lisa collaborates with each client to create tailored wellness strategies that nurture balance, resilience, and energy. The goal is to help you understand your body, honor its messages, and move confidently toward sustainable health—transforming daily discomfort into insight, empowerment, and renewed vitality.
